My experience at Riad BE Marrakech was beyond exceptional. Entering felt as if I was taken back home through time and space. Except I wasn’t home; I was in Morocco, in one of the most beautiful Riads Marrakech has to offer.
My first day there I was greeted by the owners and was treated to a lovely glass of tea. Nicole, one of the owners, brought out a map for me and showed me all of the must-see locations I should check out. I told her my travel style and the places I had in mind to see and she suggested others based off what I was interested in.
The staff constantly had big smiles on their faces and were more than happy to help with whatever I needed. Luckily, I didn’t have any issues but I watched as they assisted other people staying in the Riad. At one point, a couple felt so uncomfortable while they were walking around at night that the owner figured out where they were and called them a took took to pick them up.
From top to bottom this place is flawless. The rooftop has a terrace with multiple daybeds to lounge in, a hammock, and multiple couches for endless relaxation time. Down a level from the rooftop there are three guest rooms, a dinning room, and two more couches. On the bottom floor there are three more guestrooms, three couches to lay out on, and a shimmering pool right in the center. To top it all off, if you are an animal lover there are several adorable little cats that run around the place.
My three days there were filled with complete relaxation and serenity. I had the “blue room” on the second floor, which came with a large size bed, a little sitting area, a place to store belongings, and a very large bathroom with a soaking tub. By the end of my stay I truly didn’t want to leave. I felt like this hotel was my own personal oasis and I wanted to soak it up as much as I could.
My first night there I ate in the hotel. The dinner was served out on the terrace and started with several fixings and some delicious bread. For the main entree, they served traditional tangine, which was out of this world. I decided to indulge and ordered a date cake for dessert, which was sweet yet light.
I had a lot of work to get done while I was there and, luckily, they had high speed 4K internet service. I even felt comfortable enough to do my work in the main guest area. I just worked from my laptop on either one of the couches or sitting at the dining room table.
I got the opportunity to stay at some of the most breathtaking places Marrakech has to offer but this property was by far the best one! From the exceptional customer service, the cozy and inviting atmosphere that takes you back to the comforts of home, to the cleanliness this hotel, I would hands down rate this as a top place to stay in this city.
What is even better is they have now opened a second building to this exceptional hotel. I got the opportunity to get a sneak peek look at this new Riad. Check out the images below.
