My extremely painful but beautiful moment in life took me down a road of self-discovery. I never let a single experience take over my life, rather I let it change me for the better. After taking on the path as a traveler and photographer I knew there was no turning back, my life would for ever be changed by this choice.
Raised in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, USA. I was brought up at a young age to understand other cultures through the teachings of my grandfather.
My grandfather set the first seed for travel and compassion for others no matter their circumstance. I found a love for photography in my early years of high school. I perused some extracurricular courses through Boston University and Rhode Island School of Design to grow my knowledge on photography. I eventually decided to go to art school for a Bachelors of Fine Arts and studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. While I was in school I worked to pay for my schooling, and in the spring of 2015 I graduated completely debt free.
Six months after graduating Art school I was sitting on a balcony in New Delhi, watching the people walk and cars drive by- At this point I knew I had made the right decision. This choice never came easy to me and there was a huge amount of obstacles, but the work I was doing was always rewarding and gave my life purpose and meaning. I truly couldn’t be more appreciative of the people that have helped me, and my own desire to persevere through any and all obstacles.
